Politics: Insert Florida Joke Here

Two bills moving through the Florida House and Senate would block state financial aid to students from countries on the State Department's list of terrorism sponsors -- except Cuba.

Of course, the countries in question are Iran, Sudan, Libya, Iraq, and Syria. Anybody want to take a guess as to the nationality breakdown of the 9/11 terrorists? Here's a quote from the Washington Post to refresh your memory:

Of the Sept. 11 hijackers, 15 were from bin Laden's homeland, Saudi Arabia, two hijackers were from the United Arab Emirates, one was from Lebanon and one from Egypt, U.S. officials have concluded.

Not that we were expecting Florida to be anything other than nationally embarrassing.
