Politics: Reality, on Line 2

I know everybody's all happy because PFC Lynch was saved and President Bush's "vise" is closing on Baghdad (even though I've never seen a vise close from one side), but somebody should probably field this dose of reality: Jobless claims for last week shot up to 445,000, their highest point in a year. This probably foretells a March unemployment rate around 6 percent. Look for that report on Friday.
